Line scan technology can not detect the speed of vehicle, so multiple scan of same vehicle will generate different results according to different vehicle speed, or speed change while vehicle passing through.
As shown on the image, vehicle stop in the middle of the scan will generate big distortion.
FOD(Foreign Object Detection) function can be achieved by either Compare Algorithm or Artificial Intelligent Algorithm, while both of them need to use chassis database with low distortion, that’s why line scan UVSS can not support FOD.
